Dr Zara Lipsey

BSc DClinPsych CPsychol  AFBPsS

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist.  I work with people of all ages and often see families and couples.  I am consulted by people for a host of different reasons and takes referrals from individuals, families, doctors, solicitors and rehabilitation advisors.  Alongside my therapeutic practice, I also works as an Executive Coach providing a highly skilled psychological and coaching service to individuals and teams.

For many years I have worked with elite athletes supporting individuals’ teams and coaches before and after major sporting events.  I am well aware of the impact that high-performance environments can have on stress-levels, psychological functioning and physical well-being. I help individuals understand the importance of diversity and inclusion to support optimum team cohesion as well as drive strong leadership.  I bring this knowledge into the work I do as an Executive Coach as well as my clinical practice.

I am dedicated to making a difference to people’s lives and help people aspire to be the best that they can be. I believe that you are the expert in your own life and by asking questions in a curious and genuine manner, together we are able to discover ideas that will help you solve the difficulties.

I believe that seeking therapeutic help is the first step to living a more fulfilled life. My non-judgemental approach enables me to listen to your challenges and empower you to make changes in your life. My therapeutic role is to hear your stories and encourage you to recognise the strengths and enormous resilience that has supported you through troubled times, as well as discovering ideas that will help you move to be the best version of YOU!

As a qualified fitness instructor, keen runner, dance enthusiast, and mum of young children, I am familiar with the mental and physical demands of life. By coupling this personal insight with my clinical training, I am able to help you substantially enhance your work / school / home – life balance.
